ROOM & CONTENTS FIRE

Pearl River, LA - At approximately 9:18AM apparatus and personnel from St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 (Pearl River, LA) responded to a structure fire at 64371 Hwy 3081 (Twin Oaks Mobile Home Park). Upon arrival, firefighters found light smoke coming from the mobile home, deployed a hose line and made entry. Firefighters located the fire near and around the stove and quickly extinguished the fire. The mobile home received minimal damage with the exception of the stove and smoke that filled the structure. In total three firefighting apparatus and nine firefighters responded to the scene. The smoke coming from the structure was noticed by a neighbor who called 9-1-1. The residence was not at home at the time of the fire but did return after fire district 11 personnel and apparatus arrived on scene. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
