VEHICLE IN THE SLOUGH

At approximately 1:12am on Saturday, March 23, 2013 St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 and the Pearl River Police Department responded to Pump Slough Rd. on a single vehicle motor vehicle crash (vehicle into the water).

An adult male and female were able to escape from the vehicle before it submerged completely under the water. The occupants declined to be transported to a hospital.

A-1 wrecker and the Pearl River Police Department waited on scene for additional resources to safely remove the vehicle from the water.
