VEHICLE CRASH ON I-59

PEARL RIVER, LA - At 7:24PM on Monday, November 3, 2014 St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11, Pearl River Police and the Louisiana State Police responded to a two vehicle crash on I-59 north bound near mile marker 4. Once on scene, personnel found two vehicles with major damage, one vehicle was located in the tree line with major front end damage and the other on the shoulder with major rear end damage. One of the vehicle occupants required transport via EMS for further medical evaluation and the other refused EMS transport. The Louisiana State Police was investigating the crash. Traffic was not impeded from the crash. No further information is available from St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11.
